With Logiconomi Connections, “Toyota Material Handling Europe” launched a new digital platform for the European logistics industry in May 2025. KAROPACK has been a partner right from the start. The aim of the initiative is to connect solution providers and logistics managers in order to jointly develop sustainable and economical concepts for the material handling of tomorrow.
Sustainability in the material handling
“Logiconomi Connections” brings established industrial companies together with innovative solution providers. Together, we are finding new ways to combine efficiency, sustainability and cost-effectiveness in material transportation. As a specialist in paper-based packaging solutions and decentralized recycling management, KAROPACK contributes its many years of expertise directly to the platform. Our aim is to provide practical impetus for greater resource conservation and efficiency in the shipping process.
The inclusion of KAROPACK in this network shows that paper-based packaging solutions can make a concrete contribution to the sustainable transformation of industrial logistics processes.
KAROPACK at the Logiconomi 2025
This year’s Logiconomi conference took place on May 13 and 14, 2025 at the Palais du Pharo in Marseille. Over 500 decision-makers and experts from the European logistics industry met there to discuss current challenges and innovative solutions.
KAROPACK was represented on site. Managing Director Volker Kreiter presented the company’s paper-based circular economy as part of the new “Logiconomi Connections” and showed how the Karocycler can be used to produce packaging cushions directly from the company’s own used cardboard boxes
The response was clear: short delivery routes, reduced disposal costs and sustainable product protection are in tune with the times and meet the long-term needs of the industry.
New impetus, strong network
Logiconomi 2025 not only offered specialist presentations and discussion panels, but above all the opportunity to develop new perspectives in direct discussions. For KAROPACK, the event was an important source of inspiration and also proof that sustainable packaging solutions on an industrial scale are not only possible, but already in demand.
For us, the cooperation with “Toyota Material Handling Europe” is a strong signal from the industry: sustainability is no longer just an image factor, but is understood as an economic success factor. This is particularly true in logistics, where material flows, packaging and efficiency are closely interlinked.
